Customs regulations: From the taxation at import exempt items costing
less than 200 euro (including excise goods) or a single indivisible

of Ukraine.

certificate.

fees: import duties, VAT and excise duty.
Prohibits the importation of: vehicle funds over 5 years of age,
poisonous, radioactive, explosive substances and other items printed
and graphic materials, that contain propaganda of ideas of war,
racism, violence, food products without a certificate of conformity.
Allowed to export goods amounting to 100 thousand euro, for the
export of works of art, cultural and historical values, but it requires
a permission of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
It is banned to export precious metals, precious stones, cultural
values, poisonous, radioactive, explosive substances, revocation
securities.
It is allowed to import without any additional documents to $ 10000
or its equivalent in any currency.
There is only condition - all what is imported is currency declared.
When you are importing from 10 to 50 thousand U.S., residents provide
a statement and the origin of the currency. Non-residents - need
only a statement.
It is allowed to export the currency of Ukraine abroad (you should
be sure to specify it in a customs declaration): for residents -
up to 170 ua, non-residents - up to 85 ua, foreign currency amounting
to $ 1000 per person, traveler's checks and other documents about
the payment in an amount not greater than $ 5000 (and it is necessary
to have a declaration for importation, or authorization from the
person who imported them). Easily it is to pass the currency, which
was previously imported to Ukraine (over one year).
Visas: A visa for entry into Ukraine is required for citizens of
most countries. Visas are issued by Ukrainian Consulate. You can
not obtain Ukrainian visa in the airports or Customs, so for a visa
you need to take care in advance.
Visas are not required for citizens of these countries (residence
in the territory of Ukraine up to 90 days): Belarus, Russian Federation,
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan,
Uzbekistan, Georgia, for the citizens of the European Union and
the United States, Switzerland, Canada, Japan, Andorra, Korea, San
Marino, Mongolia, Paraguay (it only requires a document which confirms
the purpose of your trip).
Official language: Ukrainian. In many regions people use the Russian
language on a par with Ukrainian.

Romanians, Moldovans, Belarus, Bulgaria, Poles, Hungarians - 5%;
Religion: Orthodox - 76%, Uniats - 13, 5%, Muslim - 8, 2%, Catholics,
